A graduate of Missouri State University, Scheer began his career in audit and public accounting before moving into the title insurance industry, where he has spent the past 19 years in senior operations and finance roles. He joined Knox Title after building a reputation for strategic leadership, operational excellence, and deep industry expertise.

Scheer is a licensed CPA and an active contributor to the title insurance community. He has spoken on a range of industry topics at American Land Title Association (ALTA) programs and at multiple state land title association conferences. From 2010 to 2016, he chaired ALTA’s Accounting Committee. He currently serves on the board of the Title Reinsurance Corporation, which provides reinsurance support to TIAC, the title industry–owned E&O insurance provider. In addition, he serves on the advisory board of his local YMCA and volunteers as treasurer for the Missouri Wrestling Foundation.

Brent and his wife, Angela, enjoy time with their six children and son-in-law. He is passionate about supporting young people in education, the arts, and athletics. As a family, they enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors.
